One month. All you Xbox guys, grrrrrr......... but no worries, soon enough us PS3 guys will have 'em.

Most looking forward to Ascension, to be honest. Black Ops' main MP is more about the stale grind to 15th prestige, at this point. I find that MW2 had a more enjoyable replay value as time carried on. Black Ops feels like more of a "chore" - partially because the ability to BUY all your stuff, basically stripped out the (what I thought was) fun of earning all the attachments and crap, which made the grind through each prestige seem to not be solely concentrated on burning through the ranks.

That said, I'm just a HQ whore, now. 1.06 k/d and 1.05 W/L - I'm lone-wolfing it over 75% of the time anymore (not a great idea for stats, tbh)... hopefully the maps eliminate the apathy....

I'm officially back on the East Coast!

Two weeks removed from CoD though, I've become terrible

eh, whatever... getting back in the groove now. I'll be seeing you guys around

As some of you may (or may not) know, I've got the house to myself for almost a month. Wife and kids are visiting family before our big move back to the East coast (Vegas to Philly), so I've got nothing but time on my hands, and what better to do when I'm trying to save money, then to barricade myself in the house and login massive hours on MW2!?

Add in the fact that it was double XP weekend, and that's it. Toss in a a few beers to celebrate labor day, a shit-ton of good fun with some Hupit friends, and all in all, made for a pretty decent weekend, considering.

A couple things I learned this weekend:
1- I fucking LOVE Demolition. While CTF is probably my strongest gametype, I think Demo is the most fun. Especially when you've just got a plant off with only seconds remaining, or defusing as the timer is running out... it's a great feeling to pull out the defuse even with the enemy team pro-piping the hell out of the bomb area. HA! Noobsauce!

2- The L86 is a fucking beastly gun. Never used it before. With grip, I'm loving this thing.

3- Riot shielding in CTF is a BLAST.

So as of today, I'm going to start keeping a little log of my Gameplay as it progresses and improves, while playing with (and thanks to) Hupit.

Last night played in a 5-man HuPT party, and we basically stomped face in CTF most of the night. And I mean, absolutely faceraped. 13-0, 14-0, scores like that. Generally, I'm one of the Flag-runners, and any time I can go positive as a walking piece of steak in a map full of proverbial carnivores, I'm happy.

We only lost once last night, a toob-fest domination game on Estate.

On another note, I failed again to hit my first nuke. Although I wasn't even really close.... definitely nothing like the night before, when I was killed around ~20 or so....

I'll get it, soon enough. The usual crew I roll with now is aware that I'm trying to pop the nuke-cherry, and they're doing all they can to help. So far though, I'm not quite good/patient enough to rack up the kills I need, even with their help.

Close, but close only counts Horseshoes and hand grenades...

We'll see about tonight.
