If you were an official at real time, would you see it the way a camera sees it in different speeds? No. The play happened very fast and the human eye can only see a limited amount. Just like what Mittenhead said, there was an offside call before that.
there was no offside call and 4/5 refs and they are still useless

And that's why having the official on the goal line is utterly pointless; the ball goes so fast that he cant make a decision anyway, in case he gets it wrong.

I hope he does. It doesn't look like Löw is gonna let him at (?) the sidelines.

Hmmm that's weird. Like I say, almost everything i've heard from more respectable journalists is that he's been very good.

So if they missed the offside call and the goal going in, hows it the fault of the english? Just poor officials. If they were on point it would have been offside anyway so your point is invalid.

Its Englands fault because Chelsea are an English team and we all know how much he loves them for "Parking the bus"

Messi shoots the ball hard in a crowd of Madridistas because he is pissed:
People: Ohh well....hes such a nice kid...everybody has a bad day sometimes
Ronaldo blows a kiss for his son through the camera recordings:
People: This fucking arrogant asshole Bastard!! What is he even thinking?! Arrogant!!

Greece somehow managed to hold the Germans off for 60 minutes, but after the second goal, the floodgates opened. I was hoping that Greece would somehow pull off an upset, but the Germans are looking very difficult to beat right now.

in order of threats from 1-3 from the euros so far is

1. spain : they may not score a lot of goals but they are well collected and don't make many mistakes
2. portugal : there defense is improving more and more as the euros progress. czech's only had 2 shots and 0 were on target. also cristiano ronaldo is one fire
3. germany : there offense is strong but their defense is really skeptical at the moment. if portugal and germany had a rematch i would expect a 2-1 win to portugal

Germany are looking devastating, if Spain do a similar poor performance like thier previous game i don't think they can handle Germany.

The rest of the competition isn't strong enough.

Man we reall could've destroyed Greece 7 - 2 haha

Was a great feeling at the Brandenburg Gate. The fan mile is just awesome I have to say every championship.

Spain might actually win. Overall they have a good defense and know how to play there to keep the ball safe and if they manage to get some good counter attacks Germany doesn't have a chance. Just look how easily Greece got to our goal every time. Only a couple of attacks were really coordinated by Greece. Everything else was a counter. If Spain manages to control Germany's weakness we might lose.

Spain is definitely the #1 candidate with Germany in the final match if you ask me.

greece shouldn't of even scored and germany wasted chances. won't be as easy against england or italy and they could possibly lose in the semis.

Back on Özil watch! Twitter told me that a poll for a German TV station came up with results that Özil was the most disappointing German player at the tournament so far... Whereas last night my twitter feed was gushing praise for him. So confusing.

Didn't read any articles for the match against Greece now, but that might be true. He had a relatively good game against Greece.

Thats true but i think Germany went in with the mentality that we're probably going to win and so pushed up a lot more than they would against a stronger side. It will be a close match.

@Kid. In all honesty it should have been one goal, that penalty was just consolation. I think it will be a close game between Spain and Germany in the finals, not sure Italy or even England could beat Greece Maybe i'm just doubting England because expectations are a bitch.

ozil is a great player but the problem is that the last time ppl have seen him play for germany on the world stage was in africa in 2010 when he was one of the players of the tournament
he isnt playing to that form so ppl think hes not as good anymore or that hes overhyped ect but the thing is that germany have improved so much as a team since then that there not as dependant on him this time out so hes playing a different role

in my opinion england is the 4th best team at the tourney even though i don't like how they play. i could see england beating italy and possibly beating germany. gerrard has been on fire this tourney and if rooney can get back in on form. england will be dangerous.

i wanna see portugal and england in the finals l0l =]

Portugal will play Spain in the first semi final
France were very poor tonight and were non existent in the first half
second half they were a bit better but that was more down to Spain taking their foot off the gas than anything else

Final quarter final tomorrow night sees England against Italy for the right to face Germany in the second semi final

I really hoped France could make that thing happen, but it was the obvious outcome of the game ...

Now Spain and Germany will almost certainly play in the final match :/ I am not happy.
