like to title says i have a question to american's... lately i've noticed practically every second time i turn on the news i hear about some tornado tearing up a town or two and most of the time when they interview someone who lived in the area they say something along to lines of "well i guess i'll just rebuild" and that fine and all but i cant help but wonder... why do they always rebuild their house out of wood instead of bricks? it just seems to me like if your house gets hit by a tornado every year or two wouldn't brick be a better option?

... oh also, i'd like to point out this is just from my point of view, i apologize if there is a simple answer im missing here

I honestly don't think the material matters when you get hit by a tornado. you're fucked either way.

Here is the link to my steam profile. Don\'t whine because there are ten-thousand snakebites, there is a link right here.

Don\'t add me if you want to play Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, or Black Ops 2. I don\'t play them and don\'t want to.

Yup. A tornado went through the town next to me a few years ago, and stores with brick fronts got torn down.

If they were smart enough to do that (which really has no effect anyways), they would've been smart enough to not live in an area called "Tornado Alley".

In short, they're morons, and they're the butt of the joke in the acts of at least 50% of comedians here. Some do it better than others, though.
“...you’re expelled from your mother’s uterus as if shot from a cannon, towards a barn door studded with old nail files and rusty hooks. It’s a matter of how you use up the intervening time in an intelligent and ironic way. And try not to do anything dastardly to your fellow creatures.”

Most houses here are built with a wood frame and have vinyl siding or brick on the outside.

I have a question for you Yuropers, do any of you have two front doors (if I'm wording that correctly)? I had always thought that was normal everywhere up until a year ago.
Just for the record, this is not the signature that won me a little award.

Good job you only have one door ReSpawn cause I think two doors will confuse you.

Why? Why would you have two doors?

Don't mind me just cutting into the conversation like this but... The two door thing, that's usually only up north. Speaking for America only - don't know about Europe.

Where I live, Florida, I haven't seen one house with doors like that. When I go up north, around Michigan, I see them on pretty much every house. A climate thing I guess.

Complete weirdo thing I guess.

Pretty sure scandinavian countries don't have them, although could be wrong.

No, that wasn't directed towards you. It was towards MisterDyslexo's extremely vague comment.

Oh, and I have family in Australia. Trust me, I know you aren't all like Steve Irwin. He's just your nation's most prolific figure here is all.
