Her physical pain will heal. What will really get to her is the mental and social pain she's going to have to deal with in the future. I can only imagine what you think after getting pounded by a group. Depending on her state of mind, she may have a hard time making interactions with people for awhile. And socially, she will always have that label of the girl that got beat on the bus. While she wouldn't necessarily receive taunting, considering it was something out of her control, it is an undesirable label that will be attached to her.

Heart goes out to her. Being a young teen is tough enough.

How can the bus driver allow a kid on his bus to get beaten unconscious by a 15 other kids?!
I know there's only so much he can do while driving but jesus christ, pull over and call for another bus or something.

On the school bus once our driver pulled over and kicked someone off for bullying another kid. We all cheered him.
