It was/is a really playable objective based game that demanded teamwork. Every weapon, item and perk had some counter-balance.
That game was probably the highlight of my online gaming of the past 5 years.

Well, Bad Company 2 has probably the best gun balance of any game I've played.

Note how I said games I played. I haven't played Starcraft, Counter-Strike, the older Battlefields, etc.

MAG for ps3, there is no cheap stuff in the game and every single weapon can be great if you use it properly and you are good with it.

so yea super turbo is the most balanced fighting game out there. as for starcraft i cant say cause i never played it or a rts game to a extent, but i did like civ 4 and im really excited for civ 5.

For all games, i would easily say the original Starcraft.
But for fps games, either Halo or Bad Company 2 (after patches)

I liked counter-strike but it wasn't too balanced.

Weapons wise there were only 2 "wanted guns" for each team - the ak/m4(depending on the team) and the awp. People would only use the deagle or mp5 to save money. But people didn't cry in that game as much - in mw2 you use the best/strongest weapons you are considered bad - lol.

The original post is kind of dumb...

That's not balance. Balance is that they don't have the same chance - if one has an assault rifle he should not win the close range fight against a sub-machine gun. However, long range the AR should win. Really long range the snipers should win, etc.

By that definition of balance, MW2 is the most balanced since anyone can throw a grenade launcher or rpg and hit them once. No skill involved, both players good great or bad have the same chance.
