Well I'm guessing that he stopped, took some time to think and figured out what was important to him before making this serious decision.

Now that everyone hates me, including myself, I will give my serious thoughts. Good on you, Tom. I respect his/her choice and I think they have the right to. If it makes them happy, why not?

The Kevin and Bean show actually did a couple segments on this. Sucks that he is receiving as much criticism as he is, but I guess that is to be expected.
