@Pathological Gamer Well Slipknot isnt metalish enough infact not really metal i dont know how to describe them and Linkin Park they are not metal at all not even hard rock from a few years ago before 2009 i liked a few songs below 10 but even they werent rockish and every year they turned more into like rappish;whatever songs with guitar.Me and Famouso are the death metal heads on hupit.

You're not going tell me albums such as Iowa, Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), Hybrid Theory, and Meteora aren't metal albums because they are. Fact: they're classified under Nu Metal and Alternative Metal. The problem with most Death Metal/Metalcore fans is that you tend to get your metal genres obscured. You listen to bands such as Arch Enemy, Carcass, and Entombed and view that as metal. You forget bands like Black Sabbath, Motorhead, and Alice In Chains is what started metal and that not all metal has to sound harsh or loud. You don't even need the screaming to call it metal.

The problem with Slipknot and LP is that PGamer likes them, which automatically makes me hate them with a passion.

People who think Slipknot and Linkin Park are metal are the reason people think metal is for children.......
Just for the record, this is not the signature that won me a little award.

I know that but they tour in the UK more than America, FAiL.

I don't think that's true, how would you even know?

Obliviously not all of them LoL but the majority of them do, just check out the band websites. They'll have tour dates on them.

But that's wrong.........Nick Drake and J-Dilla are dead, Neutral Milk Hotel, Nine Inch Nails, and LCD Soundsystem are all broken up, I'm almost completely sure Andrew Jackson Jihad and Flux Information Sciences have never played a show outside of the US. Are you actually looking up info on any of these or just saying whatever random shit pops into your head?

My preferred music has always been Rock/Alternative/Metal, but I always have different groups and songs I prefer. Right now I have been getting into the heavier stuff like Five Finger Death Punch and All That Remains, which both have really good songs in my opinion, like 2 Weeks (ATR), Chirion (ATR), Over & Under It(FFDP) and The Bleeding(FFDP). I gotta say though, I really got started with alternative and rock while playing Runescape and listening to System Of a Down.
My top 5
5. I-E-A-I-A-I-O -System Of a Down
4. Everywhere I Go -Hollywood Undead(with Deuce)
3. The Bleeding -Five Finger Death Punch
2. 2 Weeks -All That Remains
1. Under and Over It -Five Finger Death Punch

The genres I like include Classic Metal (that's what I call it), Metal, Metalcore, Mainstream Rock, Hardcore Punk, and a couple rap artists.

Genres I dislike include Classic Rock (Mainly because I don't like Led Zeppelin), Pop, Mainstream Hip-Hop, Drum and Bass, Dubstep, and Lil Wayne.

In Classic Metal I like
