Out of those two, i'd say the second one, but if you're serious about gaming, i'd personally recommend staying far away from laptops.

The 2nd would be the better of the two, but honestly, stay away from laptops if you ever want to game on them.

The second one. But if you want a laptop that will play games smoothly on you are going to need to be spend a bit more on a decent laptop. And in all honesty you would be better of to build a desktop for gaming, unless you need it to be portable.

In general is it worth getting a gaming laptop or would it just be better getting the PC. Is getting a gaming laptop just simply for mobility or is there something else i dont know about?

The first one is pretty much identical to mine.

-Specs-
AMD QUAD A6-3400M
Radeon HD 6520G
500GB
4GB RAM
15.6in screen

This computer is pretty good. I can actually play MW3 an about 80fps.
Go for the first one.
