At a glance, yes. But it's rather hard to tell if you don't have a specific game in mind. Generally, any game can run on a laptop so long as the laptop meets the minimum requirements, just like a desktop.
The most common problems with laptop gaming are the graphics card and the RAM. So to be sure you can run a game, check that game's minimum requirements. Also make sure that the game is Windows 7 friendly. I have yet to see a game that isn't, but you should always check to be sure.
Lastly, if you don't have one already, I would HIGHLY recommend that you purchase a mouse to use with your laptop, as the build in mouse makes laptop gaming near to impossible to play and enjoy.
