Only thing I can really think of would be your mic mute switch on the inline controller. Check it and make sure you don't have it set to mute by mistake. And make sure you really push the mic up into the slot good and hard when you twist it into place, mine was a bit weird if I didn't do that.

Oh I just though, have you changed all the appropriate sound input-output settings in the XMB?

I had this problem with my Tritton ax 720, i'm pretty sure it's the same for pro. On the controls, switch it from PC to console. If it's on PC it won't capture your voice unless your using a PC with it.

I have the same problem the mic on my Tritton AX Pro stopped working and my PS3 will not even recognize the headset. Have been speaking to MadCatz (Jeremy) the makers and sellers of Tritton AX Pro headset and they gave me some B*** S*** excuse. On top of it all they want me to pay to ship the item back and only maybe will they fix the problem and replace it.

Also on their website it says that a common problem is the mic and their product is defective. I thought this was a good company but the icing on the cake was the email that came through telling me how to ship the headset back this really did them in. First I had to manually write out my return shipping label and find a suitable box to put the headset into that would keep it secure.

The pieces started to fall into place and now I see MadCatz is more concerned with selling products than keeping existing customers satisfied.

MadCatz has very poor CRM (customer relationship management) system in place. Who on earth still manually writes out return shipping labels at a company who sells their products online?? COME ON PEOPLE GET WITH IT!!!!!

I am currently speaking to Jeremy and awaiting his response to the last email I sent. Will keep everyone in the loop as to my progress. Maybe one day I will have a working Tritton AX Pro headset.

Chef.

I have a similar problem with my AXPros. With the new PS3 udpate, the headset works but I cant hear voice chat. I can talk to you but I cant hear what you are saying back. Game sound works fine. The headset still works flawlessly with my 360.
