Hooking up PS2 Slim to HDMI monitor? 1 year, 1 month ago #684732

Is there any way to do this? Is there a special cable I can use to do it?

I just put the scart lead into the back of the TV, unless for whatever reason yours doesn't have a scart socket.

I think This.... might be the kind of thing you'd need. But I'm really not certain it would even work.

Wouldn't the RCA ends need to be female?...

hmm, I see your problem now, I didn't really think it through last time. I'm sure you could pick up some kind of male to female rca extension somewhere. Then use the RGA jack thingy for the ps2 that goes to the 3 way RCA jacks (red, white, yellow). The one can plug into the litter scart adapters.

If you don't know what I'm on about I'll try post some images and/or links to what I mean.

Ok, this is the PS2 cable I mentioned.

I'm sure you've seen one, or have one.

And here is a female to female RCA coupler,
at Amazon...

Those connected to a Component - HDMI cable should work. But like I said before, I'm not certain.

Or just buy one of those lmao. I was looking at the cheaper option, which would probably cost you no more than $10. But I expect the quality with this converter/upscaler will be far superior to what I have suggested.
