I watched a youtube video a couple of weeks ago saying that the higher sensitivity the better, so i moved up from a 4 to a 7, Ive played quite a lot of games with it and am not sure really sure if i like it as much as a 4. I can turn on people a lot better, but i'm not as consistent with my accuracy. So what are peoples opinions on which sensitivity is most effective on MW3 and what one you use?

I play on 5. I can easily play on 4-8 and not notice too much difference, but I find 5 to be the most stable, and I can still turn on people extremely fast. Any faster and I would probably turn to much and not hit them at all.

4 = reg gun
6/7 = snipers

if u want to move all the way from a 4 to a 7 u can't just jump to it immediately, you should gradually go 4->5->6->7 and that way its not such a gap. the smaller steps is probably what will let you keep your better accuracy

I'm moving up from like a 3 to a 5 and right now when i play I've been on 4, and since I'm already comfortable with it, once i play again ill probably bump it up to 5. and if i ever want to move it further up, just go from there.

From what I know a majority of MLG guys play on a low sensitivity simply because it's far easier to control.

I personally Play on a 6 I can bump it down to a 5 or up to a 7 and not notice much change.

Going to a 2-3-4 It absolutely too slow for me,is the aim in theory far better because you won't speed past someone sure,but it makes me feel hindered. It's really personal preference.

What is the benefit of upping the sensitivity of a sniper rifle?
I personally don't run around sniping I try to play slow so I don't have to rush shots and what not. The only benefit I see is if your running around is there something I'm missing?

I play on 2 sensitivity because it is the perfect sensitivity. not too fast and not too slow. I play on 4 with snipers. There really is no point in having a higher sensitivity for reg guns..except maybe a 3 sensitivity for playing the objective.

You can quite easily turn on people with a low sensitivity - if you watch Sandy Ravage it looks like he's playing on a 7 yet he only plays on a 2.

The benefit of high sensitivity is drag scoping..because once you drag your sights over to the guy auto aim will do everything for you.

I originally played on 5, but this was on my very fancy 15" portable SD TV. Since xmas I have dropped to 3, which is what I played on in Black Ops, so that I could adjust to the new HD TV easier. I haven't changed sensitivity since, except for when I haven't played in a while, I will lower my sensitivity to 2 for a few games. Like ElCaptainT said, it's easy to turn on people with a low sensitivity. 3 sensitivity is very easy to control, allows me to quickly get on target at range and does not impact how well I perform in close range encounters.

Played on 5 with every CoD except for zombies where I switched to 3. The auto-focus screws up my game.

I play on a 4 with SMGs, on a 3 using an AR when playing scrims, gbs or tourneys.

i usually up my sensitivity to a 5 or even a 7 for public rooms just to work on my shot.

for the people who say playing on a five is makes it easy to turn on people, consider this
you may be able to turn on someone people but can u stay on target too with that sensitivity?

a 4 or 5 is high enough to turn on players and stay on target easily, anything higher you have more of a margin for error and are just being fancy.

also with guns killing in 3-4 bullets and lag, you being able to get out of the enemies' line of sight has more to do with you turning on people then how fast you can turn around really.

i can still turn on people. and my aim is already bad, so it's nice to play on a lower sensitivity.

in cod 4, 8, mw2, 10, black ops 3, mw3, 2.

My sensitivity has been all over the place; the reason being that I play a lot of different games, so playing something like Skyrim(which has a lower sensitivity then I'm used to)for a few weeks and then going back to COD, my sensitivity seems crazy.

Right now I'm sticking with a 6. Just recently I had it down to 3-4, but I found it way too slow after a short while(even though it helped my accuracy)

I used to play between 8-10, but after not playing for a while and then coming back to it, it was hard to control. 6 is nice for me because I can use regular guns comfortably and still be able to snipe if I want to without having to change my sensitivity.
