Before I'll start ranting, GB certainly has the the potential to be fun and to some extent, has given me some good gaming. However, the system is so flawed, its just not worth playing. In addition, this is mainly about singles matches on the COD series.

Every other match you win is disputed, that is not an over exaggeration. In fact, my last 4 wins have all been disputed. Luckily, 3 of the four have gone my way, however, it's extremely frustrating to have to anxiously wait days for a conclusion when you know that you won. But then there's the other game...

After a four day long dispute in a MW2 match that I won 2-0, i get a loss. Not just a loss, an 0-2 loss. I had 4 pictures of proof that I won the first match. How is it possible that it gets resolved 0-2 when I had proof I won at least one game? He dash boarded before the second game ended (I was winning 15-9 TDM) so i couldn't take pictures of the second game.

How is it possible he gets the win? It's impossible for him to have any proof of him beating me, but I had some proof of me beating him! The only explanation I can come up with is that his GB Rank influenced the CMRS. It would seem impossible for me (Rank 90k) to beat this guy, but it definitely happened. Done with GB, the whole dispute system is bullshit.

Gamebattles is full of egoistic twats who think they're so good because they play outside of pub games and will find any way to prove their "superiority" over anyone better than them, usually by the unorthodox means of claiming they cheated

Overall I use smaller comp. gaming sites when playing any shooter or DotA. Luckily I can play on German sites which have a lot of rules. Even your behaviour is protocolled from the opponent's perspective. People treat each other very nicely because of the small and mature community. Most of the people are good sports and it's a lot of fun. BS like the OP mentioned comes from time to time, but usually the real winner gets his W varifyed.

Previous CODs were good for competitive gaming (more balance) better map layouts etc.

But this simply proves my point of GB proves nothing.

GB unless your like the top 10 teams or something a long those lines everything else is a joke but in reality the majority of teams on there think simply because they were competent enough to log in to the website and form a team that they are "good".

Most people HATE even if they are trash and legit got beat. There are also ways to fake the final result of games (I know you could in GoW) Not sure if it's possible in COD but honestly with so many people having PVRs it probably wouldn't be hard.

Once in GB I mistakenly hit the dispute button instead of lose. The person won 2-0 and I even stated in the ticket that he won and this was all a mistake. For everyone to vote for him to him.

They all voted for me and I won.

on the 1v1, 2v2,3v3 or 4v4, I think it would be smart if they had neutral gamers be spectators for the matches you could have a spectator watch each team and this would end a lot of the disputing and crap.

That would take a ton of "extra" people in various time zones to accomplish that.

We couldn't even get a solid neutral host for our recent hupit tourney. And time zones were as "perfect" as we could have had them and it still was kind of difficult and we had time to plan.

GB matches can be scheduled at any given time.

GB used to be fun in blops, regardless of how good you were, and to say that gb is full of Egotistical morons who think they are too good for pubs is harsh, i used to love Pubs but preferred gb, i preffered the 4v4 instead of 6v6 and probably always will. There are many aspects to gb that peopld enjoy, not to just because they think they are too good for pubs, thats just narrow minded thinking.

But from what i have heard, ever since the end of blops there has been this craze to dispute every lose, which is stupid tbh

Had kid try to throw around his GB Teams Rank(I never looked to see if it was true) as an excuse for sitting in a window the entire match (yet he was using all banned GB perks/equipment) so yeah.

I really enjoyed our tourney we ran it was a blast.

They won't ever do that. The most they have done was finally partner their site with MLG,back in COD4(and maybe MW2) it was it's own site,now if you type in gamebattles.com it is connected to the MLG site.

They won't ever pay people because E Sports doesn't push out a ton of money,and the "sport" it self is a pay to play sport to go to the tourneys unless your lucky enough to be sponsored or live in the area it's going to cost you more to go and play then you could win most of the time.

I used to play in Blops and about 1 out of 4 games were disputed. I eventually got tired of people being bitches. It is fun playing SnD and never worry about some scrub using a motion sensor.

first you have to beat the players then you have to beat the system that is favorable to premium players. even if you win and get the win some teams can even reverse the win.

What a surprise, two more disputes. I'm starting to doubt if this kid actually ever wins.

Even if we do find the random kids who are playing because they enjoy it there are still 50 more people who aren't which ruins it.

I never tried playing gamebattles, because the system is so fake. i only made a GB account so i could do scrims with friend which had been the most fun i have had with cod. I am not gonna go on how singles GB proves nothing, but a rank on the GB website is the most useless thing ever and is just for rookies to get some e-penis status. if you wanna get known as a good GB player then find the best rookie teammates you can find and play in tournaments such as the frag cup,2v2 snd tournaments etc where prize money is on the line.

While I have had some fun games on GB and even made a gaming buddy or two by playing against them, it all in all seems more like a circlejerk where people get aroused over a number.

But it's pseudo-comp either way. Of course one will run into the people who give the term "tryhard" a negative meaning. The ones that will happily trash talk, dispute, make fake proof, host boot and so on to get that win.

The gaming community in general + using a number to indicate "skill" = NEVER A GOOD IDEA
