I'm sure you're all missing the whole tournament vibe as much as I am, so I've decided to write up a quick thread to organize a new one, which is what we said we'd do. Hopefully this will get a few of you interested in the game once again. It'll be an FFA tournament, extremely simply one. I'll wait a bit to get a general idea of when you want all of you want it played and then I'll set a date in stone. If you can make it, great. If not, don't worry, there will be more.

There's going to be two different tournaments with two different winners, one for North America and proximate areas and one for Europe(and probably Asia). This will make it all so much more easier, connection wise and timezone wise.

If you want to participate, simply post saying so. Depending on the amount of people that want to play we'll make 2-4 different brackets of 6-8 players(Not sure what's best). I was thinking about doing something like this, for example:

Two brackets: 3 games are played in each Bracket. You get a certain amount of points depending on your position on the leaderboards in each game. Say 1st gets 12, 2nd gets 10, 3rd gets 8, 4th gets 6, 5th gets 4, 6th gets 3, 7th gets 2, 8th gets 1. You add up your points after all 3 games and the 4 players with the most points pass on to the final round against the 4 best players from the other bracket. This is just an example, haven't really though it out too much so feedback will be great.

Rules and Maps will be decided later on, I'll delete this wall of text once we get this all down straight and just put up general info(Brackets, Maps, Rules, etc).

Anyway i probably won't be able to play as i'm not going to play PS3 after Sunday as i have A2 Exams. Unless ofcourse this is after my exams but then thats like June.

I hope the FFA event goes ahead as i love seeing the community all together in one big happy family.

University of Pitt has had over 80 bomb threats a little under a month,My school had one yesterday,Cal U has had 2 threats,and Point Park(a school basically next to Pitt had one as well) Can't promise I'll be living ahha

I'll put my name down. However I can't gurantee I'll be able to make it, as I too have exams until June.

I hope luck and spawns dictate the games. Would make things so much more fun.

I sadly won’t be able to participate, I’ll be really busy with College by then. It’s busy enough as it is. It’ll be interesting to see the who fights their corner the best.

Going to miss playing with all of the regulars.
