A very controversial view point to take but I feel it is justified.

mw2/black ops noobtube damage = 155-25
mw3 noobtube damage = 110=25

the noobtube loses around 17 damage every meter so
mw2/BO noobtube kill radius = a little over 3 meters.
mw3 noobtube kill radius = less than one meter.

that is fucking retarded honestly. sure nerf the noobtube slightly but they took it too far and totally castrated them. The noobtube should be decent at clearing rooms and taking out campers in windows out but now getting a kill is almost impossible at anything other than close range.

They should put noob tubes completly out of the game. They just piss people off no matter what.
Anyway if you really want to play successful with a noobtube there is a 4 shot semi auto noob tube at your hand now. No need for complaining.

I like that they are useless but if i could exchange black ops noobtubes for better spawns i would.

Noobtubes are legit, and are useful if someone is camping it up in a building somewhere. I remember using them on MW2 on Skidrow to clear out the top of A flag building quite a lot (I think A flag). Because they were teamed with OMA, people tend to hate them.

They definetly over nerfed them . But no one complains cause its annoying

If the noob tube isn't literally shooting nerf balls, it isn't nerfed enough.

I'm split towards a 50/50, one half says that I think IW/SHG did good on nerfing the noobtubes, but in the other hand, they overdid it just a little.

If noobtubes in MW3 was the same as MW2, then this will make Blast Shield pro more useful.

This is perfect, now you cant walk around with the noob tube out, instead after dealing damage to an enemy that turns a corner you switch to it and tube.

noobtube in BF3= Little annoying but legit

As it is right now, it's basically a counter to people that you hit once and then run around a corner that you KNOW will prone right around it.

At this point they might as well just remove them though.

I think they were fine in Black Ops and fine in MW3. To be honest, I don't notice much of a difference, even if there is a statistical one. The purpose of the noobtube should be this: Killing players who are in places of cover. Ideally, they should only be strong enough to be practical if the enemy is already injured. If I'm in a spot with good cover, I shouldn't be able to be killed by something that goes Boom whenever it hits something. To me, that just means they didn't know how to outplay me and get me out. But if I get shot and then duck behind cover, I give them every right to tube me. Knowing the hit detection in this game, they probably deserved to kill me anyway. And as of right now, I think the noob tubes do a pretty good job of this. It usually takes two of them to get a kill, and the smart player can duck out of the way of the second one. If they choose to leave them in the game, keep them how they have been for the past two games.

Never used noob tubes either way, I just never saw the benefit of them over other attachments for something that you got 2 shots out of rather than something permanent, so making them as weak as possible didn't bother me. I guess they overnerfed it though after all the complaints from MW2 which sorta justifies it

I'll admit that they overnerfed them. That said, I never use noobtubes. I tried using them to get the weapon XP challenges, but gave up because they were so bad. I never even used noobtubes in Black Ops, all my kills with them were picked up off the ground. I just don't understand how they give you a tactical advantage. The only use I see them having is to annoy people.

In MW2 they were sort of realistic in terms of damage... & i stress 'sort of'. The problem is they were abused & overused.

Having a secondary grenade launcher type of weapon (m79 or RPG) is neat... but often takes too long to switch too meaning that the situation that called for it is now gone... this is part of the reason people would just grenade random rooms/ corridors, this became effective which is often why you'll find you get blown up for no APPARENT reason.

I'd like to see different 40mm grenade types...
Or something like, if you want to use grenade launchers then you need to take a specific perk, or use a particular loadout making you a grenedier.

i would rather underpowered noobtubes to overpowered ones

It takes now skill. Check your damn corners. I have never been tubed and thought wow thats a good use for a tube. You could use Grenade. If they are in a corner its not hard to kill them with a grenade and I guarantee you if you jump around the corner and dropshot you will kill him.
