Best or favorite? Because the best is still the Striker. And my favorite is still the Striker.

AA-12.

USAS-12 is quickly becoming my favorite shotgun, but I agree with Doug, the Striker is best all around before and after the patch, the USAS is up there with the Striker.

My favorite is the AA-12.

The Striker is still the best from what I have heard. I've only been using the Model lately.

From other peoples comments it seems as if its the Striker. I've been balancing my time trying to complete that level 30 to get gold for my SPAS and level up the KSG-12 and USAS-12 to Range/Damage

I really like the KSG but it sucks haha.

This will all make sense once I'm done. I swear. Anyway, the AA12's main weakness is lack of ammo and power. And like all shotguns, it has a limited range. To compensate for all this, we are going to make use of the Specialist package.

For perk one, it is really a toss up between Scavenger and Sleight of Hand. The AA12 needs more ammo, but you also don't want to be reloading all the time because you want to stay mobile. Since you don't need to reload until you kill someone, we don't need that right away. So make Scavenger your blue perk. In order to get Sleight of Hand after 1 kill, use Hardline as your red perk. Steady Aim is the obvious choice at the green/yellow perk. The pro benefit of reduced raise time is just as helpful as the reduced hipfire spread. Make use of Assassin, the best perk for shotguns, at the 3 kill mark. Your final perk in your Specialist package is your choice. The three I listed are the three I find to be the best.

As for Damage, I tend to like it better than Range on the AA12 anyway, but keep in mind that you can't get Damage once you get the Specialist bonus. You can get range though, so it only makes sense to run Damage and then try to get Range later. Use C4 to clear out enemies on flags or around corners. The Portable Radar is a nice complement to this tactic. Finally, use the MP9 if you need to kill someone at range.

You probably should run Assassin or Hardline instead of Blast Shield, I just play TDM a lot so I don't have to worry about UAV spam.

Run Damage because you can't get it in the Specialist Bonus.

A Portable Radar would probably be more suitable, but I run Stuns as I like to get a higher advantage on people, plus I can sound whore which is like have a Portable Radar.

I use the P99's because the are fun, but the MP9 is a far better choice.

Fools! Running Scavenger as your first perk! I don't think I've ever been short of bullets on my Striker, ever. You'll get Scavenger once you kill 7 people so no problem there. Extreme Conditioning fer dayz, forest gumping them noobz.

Havent played since patch, but it seems that the KSG will still be my fav. The AA-12 looks worse than before from what i've seen. havent had any incentive to get on lately lol.

I've been liking the USAS. It gets a lot of 1 hit kills.

The Striker still is the best shotgun in the game just based on spamming the trigger and amount of rounds you get with Extended Mags. The USAS-12 is much more consistant now though, especially without Extended Mags and Damage/Range. Lots of my friends were using it on the PS3 recently and they were getting triple and quad feeds every single match.

The best is still the Striker but I think the Spas-12 has been improved A LOT. I used it yesterday for the first time, and without Damage nor Range, it's nothing compared to how shit it used to be before the patch.

I actually got a MOAB with it on the 4th or 5th game, using it with Grip and Focus.

I love the USAS.

I always did but now my hipster powers are threatened because I've seen quite a few people running it.
