At the moment im prestige 2 level 14 and its take almost 48 hours to get there. i play infection a lot so im not sure if that counts towards the time but i still know i take a long time to prestige. last prestige i got the 10,000 points from mp7, acr and scar challenges but is there anything else i can do to level up faster? i also usually score quite well in games and play a lot of domination and team defender and tdm.

Currently, I'm 8th prestige lvl 60 and I found this useful to rank up fast.

Get 500 kills with a primary weapon: Let's say you working on the M4A1, after 500 kills move on with another weapon of your choice and keep repeating until reach lvl 80.

Perk challenges: Easy perks challenges are SoH, Quick Draw, Scavenger, SitRep, Recon, Assassin and Stalker, you can earn alot of XP by doing this perk challenges.

Support: I usually run Ballistic vest/Sam Turret/Recon Drone for Domination, and replace Sam turret for EMP for KC and TDM. You earn 50 XP with the Ballistic vest and Recon Drone.

Extreme Condition pro and Dead Silence pro: 48,000 XP is the magic number of ranking up fast. Try to get Extreme Condition pro and Dead Silence pro and save it until the late 60s to early 70s.

Stinger: Great secondary of shooting down air support, you earn XP by shooting anything down.

Pistols: The Magnum, MP412 and Desert Eagle have limited attachments (Only 2) and you can earn 10,000 XP by reaching lvl 7 on these three pistols.

You should try running specialist streaks, if you're good at keeping a kill streak. Once you get your eighth kill, you'll level up fast.

Run Hardline and The Specialist package. After one kill or capture, you'll get 150 points. After 2 more, you'll get another 150 point etc... Also, you can complete the hardline pro challenges extremely fast because each perk you earn counts as a kill streak. Plus, when you have the extra perks, you can complete the pro challenges for those perks too.
I disagree with trading weapons to get more XP. Use your best and most effective gun. Using a weaker or different gun will cost you more in lost gunfights than it will in the XP you earn for the challenges. I play Domination because its my favorite, but i believe that Kill Confirmed is considered the best mode to rank up fast.
