Now we all know that Ghost was supposedly shot and burned by General Shepherd in Mw2.
Take a look at this video.



Seems pretty fishy to me. Now, going off of some speculation before Mw3 was even announced, people were talking about Modern Warfare 3 to be a prequel of CoD4, which told the story of Ghost. What about this idea, Mw3 is placed after Mw2, but it's in the perspective of Ghost. You play as him, and you go through the campaign with Makarov (other speculation assuming that Makarov saved Ghost from dying, and helps him plot his revenge on the people who betrayed him), Makarov acting as both friend and team-mate, like Price is to Soap. And they both come back and screw the entire world over.

Just some ideas. I think I'm more exited for the campaign than I am the multiplayer. Sure, new killstreaks, new guns, new maps, whatever. I always love a new story.

I think the video is likely BS. But the shadowy figure during the trailer was oddly veiled like he is someone we should know. Build intrigue. Fwiz did have an interesting theory. Its hard to deny that that character is the only real easter egg of the reveal. Who is he?

Ghost is dead, get over it. Plus, Respawn Entertainment/Infinity Ward didn't bother to spend money on lighting fire on someone else that you're not meant to see.

Prob just an odd glitch when you switch the view. from POV were on fire, and unless we get play as ghost then personally idc because it has little to no effect if hes only an NPC
