I was not impressed with the trailer at all.

I mean, it looked exactly like a copy and paste of Modern Warfare 2.

Not only that but all the different locations that they included make me worried. My indication at this point is that the story is going to be completely half-assed, and while storyline is not the most important factor in Call of Duty by any means, having a half-assed storyline makes the singleplayer more tedious and drawn-out for me. And at least Call of Duty 4 and Black Ops had storylines that made some amount of sense, while Modern Warfare 2 was just all over the place.

Maybe I'll get more excited when I see some actual gameplay or useful information.

The story is half-assed in every Call of Duty: it sucks, I know, but this franchise hasn't exactly been known for it's stellar single-player experiences (in my opinion, Black Ops had the best one yet, and that isn't saying much). It's a testament to how money driven the developers are that they invest so little time in single-player and cooperative offerings (again, with the possible exception of Treyarch) and just through all of their resources at a loveless multiplayer. And besides, a story is one thing: each MW2 mission felt exactly the fricking same.

That is true, as I really didn't enjoy the campaign for Modern Warfare 2, but at least Black Ops made an attempt at a decent storyline, and was able to not leave tons of plot holes left in the open, unlike Modern Warfare 2.

Still, campaign should probably not be what I should be judging it on for the most part.

I'm probably just being too judge-mental, but that's just how I react to Infinity Ward nowadays, after Modern Warfare 2.

Ghost type is best type
Mayonnaise is the condiment of the Gods
Cowboy Bebop is best anime
Drums > Every other instrument
Dave Grohl is the 2nd coming of Jesus
Oblivion Keyblade is best Keyblade
Vanilla Coke = Liquid sex in a bottle
Espeon is best Eeveelution

Opinion is opinion-ie. Personally I've enjoyed all the single player experiences but for you to draw an opinion and state it as fact means nothing.

I know, but this franchise hasn't exactly been known for it's stellar single-player experiences (in my opinion, Black Ops had the best one yet, and that isn't saying much).

In my opinion, along with others, BLOP's was one of the most unrealistic, unsatisfying, intolerable campaigns CoD has to offer.

It's a testament to how money driven the developers are that they invest so little time in single-player and cooperative offerings (again, with the possible exception of Treyarch) and just through all of their resources at a loveless multiplayer.

I'm assuming this is a direct attack on IW seeing you just stepped aside 3arch. This should make you happier in terms of post launch support. www.modernwarfare247.com/news/402-talks-mw3-post-launch-support

And besides, a story is one thing: each MW2 mission felt exactly the fricking same.

Again opinion based. Try not to fill these threads with ignorance and work on your grammar, thank you.

Since Activision took the leaked video down, I replaced the video with the actual video so you guys can see. I also changed the title a little .

Looks like fun, looks like MW2, couldn't care about the Single Player, if its fun then wohoho if not then oh well. I'll be picking it up along with BF3.

I'm just going to leave this youtube comment that sums up my view on MW3 and Battlefield.

"Battlefield 3 will provide the quality product that won't be widely accepted. Modern Warfare 3 will provide the "same old" product that everyone will play for a year while simultaneously complaining about the multitude of problems. Battlefield 3 will actually patch itself into balance. Modern Warfare 3 will patch itself out of one problem and into others. History can, and will, repeat itself. This, however, does not mean you shouldn't enjoy both games as you see fit. My opinion. Don't hate."

Good, now more people will look at this first instead of making new threads.

But yeah, I'm picking this up. I never pick up a COD on release, mainly because I'm a gaming athletic youtube subscriber champion that watches commentaries.
I'll watch commentaries for a few weeks, then pick it up myself around December.

I really really really hope this game is a win and it wont induce so much rage.
I guess we'll have to wait until sometime in summer for MP info.

Couple things found in the analysis. TBH the SP doesn't really peak my interest, I'll be much more interested in the MP. SP does look like fun, but that's certainly not what would be the deciding factor on whether or not I will purchase the game.

Looks like IW went all out on the singleplayer this time round .. shame no footage of Makarov - Soap or Price (I do hope they return!). I'm glad we can visit a ton of world locations one being London around Parliment which is awesome gives the feel that the whole world is engaged in the war now rather than just the US and Russia. I'm hyped for singleplayer and I do hope we get to play as Soap Price again they didn't die at the end of MW3 but left with Russian pilot to go somewhere.

Now the wait for the MP trailer is on, hopefully they show something worthwhile being a peak at perks, killstreaks, weapons, attachments and ofcourse maps.

Definately one of the best CoD trailers I have seen yet though it doesn't quite beat MW2's.

Maybe we will see something during E3 if not they released MP footage for BOps the August before release, so I would imagine we would see a repeat in terms of timing.

Damn right that's your opinion.
