Personally, I thought the story was pretty great, but the multiplayer was lacking a bit. Not sure why, I generally prefer third person shooters to first person, but something about the MP just rubs me the wrong way. As for the story, I feel that I can just say it was a good story, as opposed to good for your average military shooter. I thought they did a pretty good job on how the characters changed a bit as you progressed through the story and the radio guy was pretty funny as well. It also seems like they tried to make you feel bad for the guys you were fighting. They don't seem like the pure evil, newborn eating bad guys you fight in other shooters. It kinda gets you thinking about if you are actually doing the right thing. At least, it did for me. They also aren't Russian for once, which is a relief. As far as a recommending they game goes, I would say give it a shot. You can safely rent it from Gamefly or buy it used because it doesn't have an online pass required to play the MP, so that's good. What did you guys think about it?

I've been debating on getting it, may give it a try since at least the storyline is good. If the MP is lacking it won't have much re-playability tho. I'll let you know my opinion once I have played it some.
