Well, I'd say, Lightweight is the perk to go with. If rushing, you want to get to the enemy's face asap, and you will be doing fine using it. If you think you might be running into claymores: This might be the case sometimes, but Lightweight will save your live in some different situations, e.g. running for cover. I've used such a rushing class in CTF where like 5000 claymores are set at once and at the beginning I tended to die a lot from them, but I quickly learned to be a little more careful about claymores and so I succeeded with this class, so in my opinion, you should give ot a try And, by the way, using Lightweight is also a big advantage in gun fights because by moving faster, you are a harder target for the enemy.
Of course, you can also use Flak Jacket or even Ghost (which is a really great perk used in the right way) to rush, but I would prefer Lightweight. Maybe you should try all of them out to find the class you're the most comfortable with

If you're playing search, I always recommend using a silencer and I command you to use ninja. Seriously, sound is that important in SnD.

Well, that's a good point, sir. In my opinion, Ninja is not a must because I can handle playing SnD with a headset without using Ninja and personally I succeed without it, but maybe you have earned different experiences So, you would say, he should definately go with Ninja?

I think Hacker Pro is more usefull, if I don't use Marathon Pro, so you can see all the Claymores and Motion Sensors.
But that is my opinion.

I can't stand to play without ninja. Remember that its primary function is not to let you soundwhore, but to shield you from being soundwhored.

Watch this guy: ranked 51st in the world for Search, and he know what he's talking about.

Okay two parts to this. First, the gun. I honestly prefer the AUG to both the FAMAS (pre- and post-patch) and the AK74u. If I'm using the FAMAS I'll throw a red dot on it, not because I don't like the iron sights but because I'm just comfortable with it. Taped mags are nice too, which I nearly ALWAYS throw on my AUG. As for the AK74u, I can't use it anymore, I'm just not comfortable with the SMG strafing speed and the recoil. Not my style anymore. However, it is still a very good gun, and I'd throw grip on that and use sleight of hand. It'd be better for a rushing playstyle, and the assault rifles would be better for a more objective, slow pace (thought they'd both still work for rushers).

Now, for perk/equipment. SnD is full of people with nice headsets, and ninja's great for a slower pace, and for rushers as well. Depends on how fast you actually rush. I tend to rush the rushers with the ballistic knife/tomahawks and I'm loving marathon.People don't often turn on me because that early in the round, they usually think it's just their teammates' movements. I wouldn't bother with ghost on your primary class but it may be worth having a spare class with it just in case there's that one guy who's having a great game. Hmm, what else... AH, JAMMER. Dead useful for clearing out campers, especially for rushers. Knocking out radar is nice too. That's all I've got though, and of course this is all up for debate.

... Come at me bro.
