TOPIC: If you mute someone can they hear you?

draven26 OFFLINE Premium Member Posts: 827 Points: 662 Karma: 17	I never really thought about this until yesterday when two friends were arguing about it, with one saying the person you muted could still hear you and one saying they couldnt, I have never really tested it. so if i mute someone, can they still hear me?

From personal experience they CAN hear you, you just can't hear them. I could be wrong, but that's what I have gathered.

Thel2ooster OFFLINE Newb Posts: 8 Points: 10 Karma: 0	Yup. As far as I know, when you mute someone all communications is cut. You don't hear them, they don't hear you. The confusion probably comes from the "echo effect" where your mic echoes from one person who you don't have muted and then the person you muted hears it from the other guys mic.
