I've been trying to get into commentaries but my quality always looks like crap. Also I'd like somne info on how to record live commentaries for games. If you could team viewer me and show me how to get good quality that would be nice. Just post here or pm me if your willing to help.

well do u have component cable hooked up to your hd pvr and if u do did you flip the swith on the side of the cable that says standerd and hdtv, change that to hdtv to make it look better also to do live commentaries you need to have audacity on a computer (works best on a laptop) and have it near you and record you voice through audacity, then use a editing program to sync it up

now that i think about it doing commentaries on pc is a lot easier from when i was doing them on xbox lol also how come i never get a +karma i help so many people out and no one thanks me wtf just sayn

If you own a headset, turtlebeaches, etc. can't you just plug them in and record using them, if you want to speak to your team your going to need a bluetooth headset running at the same time, unless you have a built in mic that is good quality built into your pc and you can be in range of it.

Thanks for all the replies this helped me a lot about knowing how to do live commentaries. There wasn't a switch on my pvr though for hd. It records in 720 but it just looks bad. Look above to see what I mean. This was recorded with a hdpvr.
