I now use a Samson Go-Mic which is not a really good mic and really annoying actually because there is absolutely no 'noise filter' which filters the background noise of my parents speaking and the television sound..

Now, I was thinking to buy a headset which needs to have these things:
-Soft (I don't want my ears to hurt)
-Sound quality (Basically, needs (or almost needs) to be my voice in real life)
-Noise filter (see above)
-Wireless or not (does not really matter for me)

Now my question is, which headsets would you recommend me buying?
+ Is that opinion based on first-hand experience or from somewerhe else?

I hope you will help me find a solution

Sincerely Yours
Quartaxx

EDIT/
Forgot to say that it's for PC. And I'm currently using a mac driving windows, I have only a audio out and audio input nor microphone thing (don't know if that even exists )

Just so that you don't get too disappointed, no background filter/removal/cancellation will ever erase the sound of your parents speaking. Sound cancellation eliminates the background hum of fans, vents, or very large groups of people or the muffled sound of people talking in other rooms when what they are speaking is not clearly discernible.

If you can hear what your parents are saying, probably will be heard through the headsets.

Well yeah, you got that right (: . But it doesn't matter, a good filter is good enough. Just need a good headset. But not too pricy =D

the px21's are a good for the price, although after a few hours of constant use they do get abit uncomfotable. considering the price i think they are prob best for under $100/£100. youtube headset reviews and see what people have to say from using various headsets, or even go into your local gaming store/pc store and ask them what they would recommend.

The PX21s are great for an entry level headset.

I personally have been playing with the Tritton Ax Pros, which is a really great headset. It all depends on how much you really are devoted to game. However, I previously owned the Tritton ax 720's which, for a price of about $120 is a great deal. They have 5.1 surround sound, comfortable, Smooth sound, mix plug for volume of mic, game volume, and chat volume. All around a great headset!

I would recommend the Turtle Beach X11's. They are pretty cheap and comfy for a headset this is my own opinion thou others might see differently. I believe they are around 60-80 U.S. dollars. The noise filter is good, for example if I were to play music through my headset it would come out clear as day. The sound quality is good on the X11's it has a separate tuner for chat and game so, if your playing solo noisy people in the game wont bother you. The X11's are STEREO NOT SURROUND SOUND.

Don't get turtle beaches... although the sound and mic quality is great, the build quality is shit. I would highly recommend buying another headphone brand if you don't want a broken pair of 80$ headphones (from firsthand experience as well as friends experiences).

My first recommendation would be a pair of tritton ax180 (70$) or, since you're on PC, a logitech headset.

I bought a Datel at my PX (Post Exchange) for about $40. It's not a bad headset.

AX Pros are great, but they're flimsy as hell.

Honestly, I'd bite the bullet and buy some A40s if you're serious/tryhard about gaming, or go ahead and get the PX21s..

Hmm if your trying to get a decent headset for the PC try checking out these companies
Logitech(basically they have most of the PC stuff some of the headset they have has 7.1 surround sound but might cost a little bit high)
SteelSeries(one of the trusted sites for a pc gamers)
Razer(might be quite high Priced but oh well)
Tritton(I own a AX720 and it was a decent price and I bought it for my PC and Console gaming)

I have one of the more recent Logitech USB headsets. It's pretty great and cancels out all other noises from my mic.

Well since it's for a PC, I'd recommend the Turtle Beach HPA2s. As long as you have a decent sound card, they should provide you with excellent sound quality. They are about the same price as the PX21s that everyone else is recommending, but are a much higher quality headset. The HPA2 is Turtle Beach's competitive headset and reviews say that sound quality is up there with the best.

I use the Turtle Beach X11's for both my PC and my Xbox and it works great on both. The X11's are great because:
-They filter out outside noise
-They have mic managing which basically lets you know when you are speaking to loud or to quietly.
-For 60 bucks they work on both 360 and PC
-They have volume control for chat and game sounds and you can mute yourself at anytime.

I use the Tritton AX720's and love them to death. I have had them nearly a year and are still in perfect condition. They are only around $120 which is near the bottom of the price range for good headsets.

Logitch G35 - 7.1 surround sound, feels nice, does bug you after a couple of hours though, but just awesome sound quality. Price varies from $75-$150. Plugs into USB port and install software and your good to go. Again its an awesome headset. Take a look
