Hey Battlefield folks!

Anyways there is a rumored reference for 2143 (2142 sequel) in Wake Island on Back To Karkand. I think this is a possible expansion, new game, or a myth.

I looked around the hanger area for the reference and found it just to confirm it was true. So do we get a new game? Maybe an expansion? Or is DICE just pulling strings...

I never got to play 2142 on PC but i hope this does mean something.

2143 if it comes out it's going to be full game. From what I've read there was a reference to 2142 in one of BF2 expansion packs... So Dice has done this before.

Dice probably shouldnt be releasing any new titles until the new consoles release but if this is a sequel than i am definatley excited cause 2142 was extremely fun on PC.

Yea, I saw that in BF2.

We don't know when though because of Medal Of Honor 2, Mirrors Edge 2, and a developer at DICE said he wants to do a Bad Company 3.

But Medal of Honour 2, I must point out, probably won't have any involvement from DI. They only did multiplayer, and really that was to probe a few more ideas they were tinkering around with for Battlefield 3. Mirror's Edge 2, we don't really know. As much as it was a good game, it was a niche game. It has a cult following, but not popularity. And we know EA publishes $60 games, not $30 games. We all know Mirror's Edge 2 wouldn't be worth $60. I hope they make it an expansion like BC2's Vietnam Pack.

That would be awesome. However, I don't want to buy another full Battlefield game any time soon.
