I want to ask hupit players on why H.R. is the worst in the series. Is the game that horribly bad? All I hear is it takes zero skills, it caters to COD players & etc. I've play Halo CE, Halo 2, 3, ODST & Reach. Halo Reach online multiplayer mode was my first time playing it ever & never play Halo 3. Help me to understand on what Halo online multiplayer is all about.

Halo Reach multiplayer isn't really "terrible", but I don't get the same enjoyment out of it as I did with Halo 3. Halo 3 actually took a little bit of skill, and everything just seemed to work better.

No it's not bad, but Halo 2 & 3 were better multiplayer games IMO. It has more skill equalizing factors. That's why Halo fans bitch about the game

I think it's better than 3 online just because it has hitscan.

It's not the best, but NBNS makes the game enjoyable.

By the way, what's NBNS?

No Bloom No Sprint. It is really the only way that the game is playable for me. Bloom and sprint were not balanced well at all and add randomness and let people put themselves into bad positions but they are allowed to just sprint away instead of getting punished for it. If sprint for Reach would have been made the way 343 is making it for Halo 4(Slow down if getting shot while sprinting) it would have worked much, much better.

There was also the lack of a ranking system that had become a staple of the online Halo experience and was part of the reason for H2 and H3s longevity. As for them catering to CoD players I disagree. If anything they tried to make a hybrid of Halo and Shadowrun but half assed just about every aspect of the game which in turn made it pretty bad by the standards of previous Halo games.

Okay, it's your opinion & I respect it. At least you gave your reason on why Halo Reach wasn't really good in your view. Maybe I need to play H.R. a little bit more (I've only play about 1h & 50 minutes total on versus mode). Actually, I really like the sprint ability in H.R. The reason I brought up the "it caters to COD players" issue for that's what I've been hearing on different gaming forums & YouTube websites. At one point, Halo franchise needed a "kill-cam" feature (Call Of Duty).
