Haven't made a thread in a while just out of pure laziness but I'll go ahead and make one.

So just like the title which one are you better at. I'm adapt at both in COD but I'm better at Camping of course. In MW2 and BO camping payed dividends 7 out of 10 of my games though in MW3 it doesn't matter what I do.

What are you better at?

I really don't know. Rushing is very limited in this game. Whoever can't camp properly must be mentally handicaped.

Never done either, I just play the game.

A good rusher is a better camper. While I don't particularly like using either term, that is fairly accurate from what I've seen.

Probably camp, nowadays I always die when I rush but I don't camp throughout the whole game. I mostly just roam!

Rushing. I suck at camping. Literally back in black ops while using my sniper class, I spent more time running around with my pythons than actually sniping. I'm not bad at camping, i just get impatient and end up running to my enemy.

Would say im better at rushing, I am unable to sit in a corner and camp for more than a few seconds. Even when I try to camp I usually fail at it and loose the gun fight.

I like to plop my ass down in a corner and get my tent out. Then we shoot them Mexicans who come calling.

i cant really camp because when the impatientess comes in i just get mad. Sometimes i dont even look around when i rush because i want to kill, but if im in a good mode i will rush and look around and normally get a good KDR

Camping is the easiest of all things to do. Rushing is easy too but its only effective against poor players, whereas camping is effective against players of any skill.

I can rush around with a spas 12/74u and piss people off.
Or if I get pissed because of people not moving I can play like a total douchebag with an AUG/AK47/Commando and headglitch everything.

Rushing - but only cuz im too impatient to play defensive even when i have a nice one man spawn trap going. if you can maintain a 2 k.d rushing aggresively, then patrolling a area should be simple! It bugs me when people say "blahblah a beast", when all they do is patrol a 20ft by 20ft area. smart play maybe - but anyone with half decent aim and map knowldge could post good scores..

Anyways, I don't have the patience to camp unless I'm on a high streak or there are multiple enemies near me. Other than that I rush around in the enemy spawn.

It depends. Rushing vs. camping, that's such a broad brush.

If by "rushing," you mean running around killing whoever you run in to, no, I'm not super good at that because you die so fast in these games and the spawns are so crazy, it's hard to win a head on gunfight. Whoever gets the first shot on target is usually gonna win, and even if you do kill the guy that tried to kill you, one of his buddies probably spawned just around the corner and he'll finish you off.

Or maybe you mean rushing towards the flag, the dog tag, the HQ, whatever, yeah, I try to do that. It's probably one of my downfalls, because as I'm running towards it, someone on the other team is waiting for me so they can defend it (or camp it, I guess, depending on how you see it).

"Camping," um, I guess it depends on what you consider camping. I think of camping as the guy who's totally cold blooded picking off people as they run by, no, I don't do that, that's boring. A guy who used to be on my team called it "controlling an area," and he almost always played HC TDM. He'd get furious at me because I'm out moving trying to find the other team, screwing the spawns up, but whatever, I can't just wait on someone to come and find me.

So yeah, camping, rushing, such broad terms.
