I had the hupit tag on and went into a mercenary TDM.

Lo and behold wings was there, he thought i joined his session.

the other day i was playing with 5 HUPT guys in a lobby, one of my non-HUPT friends joined my session so we quit and invited him to the party. the very next match we get thrown into were all squeakers, and they all knew about HUPIT. they started talking about us like we weren't there, cause none of us had mics, and started trashtalking us, and saying that we were tryhards and wanted to be like woody and onslaught. we played dom. they all backed out and forfieted when we hit 198, and they had 40.

My first experience when playing against someone with the HuPT clan tag was utter bewilderment and defeat. The team i still play with and I were defeated 7500 to 3600. God we felt so ashamed but we loved going against people that were better with us so we stuck it out three more games.

Last night I actually decided to put the title on to see what the reaction would have been in a free for all lobby. it was priceless cause when i entered the lobby i was up against 5 boosters. Once they saw the tag they all backed out god it was hilarious. XDD

At first, all id hear is "wtf is HuPT?" , now i hear "FUCK, im leaving!" =]

My favorite is when people join the lobby with a friend and they're in mid-conversation, wait three seconds then you'll hear "Backout, Backout, BACKOUT!"

Ive met other Hupiteers that had the clan tag on in Merc TDMs or FFA. though i havent had alot of people call it out like they knew HuPT stands for a website.

Hehe some great posts in this! I'm 15 minutes into HUPT and can't wait to change my tag tm and see what happens!!! Sent some pm's to some profiles and hopefully this will be the start of some good fun and some better success!!

The tag isn't widely recognised over here (UK) and as I tend to roll solo for a couple of hours before my UK hupiteers come on-line, it can get..... interesting.....

One match, got thrown into a team on Dom that were, um, useless - we lost (unfortunately) me with 23 kills, 38 deaths, 9 caps 6 defends (WTF!) - oh I was the only one who capped btw...

One dude sent me a msg - "you do know what hupt means ?" really - don't think *anyone* could have salvaged that game - not even the mighty Hutch...

It did make me feel kind of embarrassed to run the tag, but kept it, then demolished them in the next round

had people back out a few times while i play in a full squad of people all with the clan tag, got called a hupit fanboy by one guy, i think he was just sad cause i got like a 3kd that game, and he went like 6 for 20, and one time while playing with someone on my friends list we came across some one from hupit and my friend said oh hey one of friends is in the game, he got he same clan tag as you.

"What is HuPT?"
*explains*
"So...it's like adultfriendfinder...but for video games?"

Most times people back out when they see 4 or 5 Hupt clan tags in our full party ..but the ones who stay usually ask if were friends with some of Hupits elite players and others just basicly trash talk best they can....But the best reaction i heard so far has to be "Oh great its a hupit...Get ready to be on someones youtube channel"

They try to talk smack before the game and then get smacked. haha

This might just be me, but ever since WoR has started reppin Hupit, there are more squeakers and more K/D whores. I've played with like 4 or 5 recent Hupiteers and I've had two leave me in a game because the other team got a chopper and they didn't want to "ruin their K/D's." The others have just been emo squeakers and never stfu. I only mention WoR because those 5 other players said that that's how they heard about Hupit. Anyone else experience this?

On topic: Some of the best games is when my party gets matched up against another Hupit party. It's happened randomly about 5 or 6 times and usually before the first match I say best 2 out of 3, that way no one backs out and understands it's just a friendly competitive game. It's usually a bunch of ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh's when we all get in the lobby together and then it's people having fun and laughing.

The funniest experience I had was when my team got into a lobby and someone from the other team said really softly, "Hupit... back out," like we weren't gonna hear. After begging and pleading for the to stay because it's nearly impossible to get a game with a full party, they left

I was playing HQ and one guy on the other team came out of party chat to talk shit. He then backed out in about 3 minutes. In response to youngB though, yes, I have met quite a few k/d whores on hupt, but you have to just delete those guys as you build your friends list, and keep the actual good players. Blaming Wings for it seems unnecessary though, he's just trying to advertise a good website.

I don't wear a HuPT clan tag. Mine is LOVE. I try to be as non-threatening as possible. It gives them a false sense of security. Mind games, my friends.

I don't ever wear the tag, as I don't really roll with other people from HuPT usually. But this is how I react when I see someone with it.

I usually get talked shit to because I win games going negative with people saying that Im a Hupit posing wannabe and then... they proceed to lose again by one Hupit member and a bunch of randoms and yet the shit talk still proceeds... very funny

Mostly people are just confused by it. If I'm on my own, people say "is that some sort of clan, I've seen that before".

But if your in a part, I've had people shit talk, and yeah, with better communication we usually proceed to kick their collective asses.
