A quick guide on using the Sharing Gamertags application.
Step 1 - Update your Profile
Basic Information
- Login - You must be logged in to Hupit.
- My Profile - Click on My Profile, or use the drop-down and select Edit my details.
- Review - Review the information you have provided already on the tabs below your avatar image.
Gaming Information
- Update Profile - Click Edit → Update Your Profile.
- Sharing Gamertags - Make the appropriate selections.
- Additional Info - Be sure to specify any further requirements for your gaming partners.
By being accurate and specific within your profile, you stand the best chance of attracting the players you want
Step 2 - Searching
Click on the Sharing Gamertags link in the navigation menu.
By using the Search feature (top right side of user list) you can specify the type and style of player you wish to seek.
Note: There is an issue when searching between age ranges. Please ensure you modify both the lower and upper age selections for it to function correctly.
Step 3 - Introduce yourself
Proper etiquette dictates that you should message them on Hupit via a Personal Message. You can do so directly while you are viewing their profile.
If you do not get a response, perhaps send them a message via your Console or Multiplayer site rather than sending a friend request.
